Pipeline Engineer – ArcGIS Specialist

About the role

Technip Energies is seeking a Pipeline Engineer – ArcGIS Specialist to join its Abu Dhabi team. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will combine pipeline design expertise with advanced GIS capabilities to support onshore and offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review pipeline design drawings in accordance with ADNOC Drawing Office Procedure (DOP).
• Develop pipeline routing using ArcGIS software and ensure accurate coordinate integration.
• Obtain ROW and NOC approvals from statutory authorities.
• Support FEED and EPC phases, delivering technical inputs and documentation.
• Maintain drawing schedules, meet man‑hour targets, and ensure quality checks before final sign‑off.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Geo‑Informatics Engineering or GIS.
• Minimum 7 years of pipeline design experience (onshore & offshore), including at least 5 years with ArcGIS.
• Proven experience in pipeline routing, ROW/NOC approvals, and survey coordinate systems.
• Experience with FEED and EPC projects; preferably 2 years working in the Gulf region and familiarity with ADNOC DOP.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
