Planning & Development Officer – Express Courier

About the role

Emirates SkyCargo is seeking a Planning & Development Officer for its Express Courier business. The role focuses on sourcing operational vendors, onboarding best‑in‑class partners, and driving productivity improvements across the courier network.

Key responsibilities

• Research, analyse and validate operational data to develop accurate productivity and performance benchmarks.
• Provide insights and recommendations to line managers for budgeting, benchmarking and continuous process improvement.
• Review operational processes, propose enhancements and monitor service quality, customer experience and cost effectiveness.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, prioritize requests and coordinate with stakeholders to implement system improvements.
• Design, maintain and report on Management Information System dashboards across business units.
• Conduct scenario simulations, extract data with analytical tools and deliver business insights for decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Learning & Talent to keep coaching content current and monitor engagement.
• Provide coaching and analytical support to project teams, ensuring methodologies and tools are applied effectively.
• Develop, maintain and standardise KPI dashboards and forecasting models.

Required profile

• Supply chain or logistics background with experience in operational data analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work closely with procurement and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in designing and maintaining management information reports.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable system enhancements.
