PMC MAC Specialist – Instrumentation

About the role

Wood is seeking a PMC MAC Specialist (Instrumentation) to join the team supporting the ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The role will be based at the client’s office and involves overseeing instrumentation activities within the project’s PMC framework.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage instrumentation scope within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the delivery of instrumentation packages, including procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and drive project milestones.
• Prepare and review documentation, reports and progress updates for client and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation for oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience working in a PMC or similar consultancy role on offshore or onshore facilities.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation standards, testing procedures and quality assurance.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi and liaise with client representatives.

Required skills

• Instrumentation engineering knowledge.
• Familiarity with MAC (Mechanical‑Automation‑Control) processes.
• Project coordination and documentation skills.
