About the role

Join the Hilton team at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah as a Polisher, responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of hotel surfaces and contributing to exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Apply polishing paints and coatings to floors, walls, and furniture.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or buffing to ensure optimal adhesion.
• Select appropriate paints and coatings based on surface type and usage.
• Use brushes, rollers, sprayers, and polishing machines safely and effectively.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and perform touch‑ups as needed.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to schedule and prioritize projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and handle materials according to safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience and expertise in polishing various surfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve high‑quality finishes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Painting and Decorating Certificate.
• Manufacturer Training Certification.
• Hazardous Materials Handling Certification.
• CPR and/or First Aid Training (advantageous).
