PowerBI Developer – Data Visualization Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PowerBI Developer who will turn raw data into clear, actionable visualisations. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with business teams to deliver intuitive dashboards that support data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build user‑friendly Power BI reports, dashboards and visual elements.
• Clean, shape and model raw data using Power Query and best‑practice data modelling techniques.
• Develop advanced DAX calculations for aggregates, date, logical and table operations.
• Connect Power BI securely to various data sources such as SQL databases, cloud services and Excel.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical BI solutions.
• Monitor and optimise report performance, data flows and dashboard efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills for explaining insights to non‑technical users.

Required skills

• Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Power Query (M language) and DAX.
• SQL and relational database concepts.
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
