Pre Graduate Architect Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Egis, an international architecture, consulting, construction engineering and mobility services group operating in 100 countries, is looking for an organised and detail-oriented UAE National Pre Graduate Architect Engineer to join its team at a project site in Dubai. The role centres on managing and controlling all project-related architectural and engineering documents, ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements and professional engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers and design teams so that document and drawing management protocols follow architectural and engineering standards.
• Implement quality assurance procedures and ISO certification requirements for architectural and engineering documentation.
• Manage, archive and maintain digital and physical project records, including drawing sets, technical libraries and project directories.
• Arrange printing and distribution of technical drawings, design documents and deliverables to contractors, local authorities and other stakeholders.
• Maintain registers of incoming and outgoing transmittals, submittals, technical reports, drawings and engineering documents, including NCRs and RFIs, and monitor response times against contractual timelines.
• Manage document control software and FTP sites and digital platforms for project documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• UAE National passport and Family Book.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Document management systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Aconex, Prolog or equivalent document control software.
• Architectural and engineering filing, archiving and records management.
• Data entry and record keeping with attention to detail.
