Primary Bilingual Teacher

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Primary Bilingual Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering the English National Curriculum to a diverse student body while contributing to the school’s high standards of achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies and practices that reflect the school’s vision and commitment to high achievement.
• Plan, monitor and evaluate short‑, medium‑ and long‑term departmental goals.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create targeted action plans.
• Design and maintain schemes of work for all year groups, including provisions for SEN/POD, G&T, and EAL learners.
• Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression for all students.
• Set and uphold high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour among staff.
• Evaluate teaching quality, identify best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the school’s CAS programme and support after‑school booster/revision sessions.
• Manage departmental performance and efficiently allocate staff and resources.

Required profile

• Secure knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Proven track record of raising standards and closing learning gaps.
• Leadership experience at various levels and ability to work collaboratively.
• Alignment with the school’s core values and appreciation of regional cultural values.
