About the role
We are seeking an experienced Primary English Teacher to join The Indian Academy Dubai, delivering high‑quality English instruction to primary‑level students in a British‑curriculum environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare teaching materials, resources and classroom displays.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to support a cohesive learning community.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and student performance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English with a B.Ed. qualification.
- Minimum five years of teaching experience in the home country or UAE in a similar primary‑level role.
- Experience in schools following the British curriculum is preferred.
- Immediate availability to join the school.
Required skills
- Strong command of English language and literature.
- Ability to design lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Effective classroom management techniques.
