Primary School SEND Coordinator – Start Jan 2027

About the role

The Arbor School Dubai is looking for an enthusiastic Primary School SEND Coordinator to join our inclusive community. The role will support the Head of Inclusion in promoting learning, wellbeing and personal development for primary‑aged pupils, especially those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will help embed inclusive practices across teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate SEND provision throughout the Primary School.
• Work closely with teachers, learning support staff, families and external professionals.
• Develop and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with school policies.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on inclusive teaching strategies.
• Monitor progress of SEND pupils and adjust interventions as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or related field.
• Experience working with primary‑aged children with SEND.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and influence inclusive practice across the school.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
• Proficiency in developing and reviewing Individual Education Plans.
• Experience using data to track pupil progress.
