Primary Teacher (Academic Year 2026/27)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher for the 2026/27 academic year in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum, raise standards and close learning gaps to ensure progress for all students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies aligned with the school’s vision and high‑achievement standards.
• Establish, monitor and evaluate short, medium and long‑term plans for departmental development.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create targeted action plans.
• Design and regularly review schemes of work for all year groups, including provisions for SEN/POD, G&T and EAL learners.
• Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression for high‑ability and special‑needs students.
• Set expectations for staff regarding achievement, teaching quality and behaviour.
• Evaluate teaching and learning quality, identify best practices and drive improvement.
• Contribute to the school’s CAS programme and after‑school booster/revision sessions.
• Performance‑manage the team, deploy staff and resources efficiently, and control departmental resources.

• Leadership experience at various levels and ability to work collaboratively.
