Principal IT Pillar Specialist

About the role

The Principal IT Pillar Specialist will design, configure and implement end‑to‑end Digital Twin solutions, bridging physical and digital environments to drive efficiency and innovation for McDermott and its clients. This senior position works closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources and deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and deploy Digital Twin solutions that meet project requirements.
• Integrate data from IoT sensors, SCADA systems, enterprise databases and simulation platforms.
• Collaborate with Digital System Integrators and internal IT teams on implementation.
• Develop forecasting models, manage metadata and ensure seamless data integration.
• Provide functional and technical design input and support SIT/UAT activities.
• Analyze incidents, classify as bugs or enhancements, and prioritize execution.
• Define requirements aligned with SDLC, project scope and objectives.
• Produce weekly status updates and maintain technical guidelines for the Digital Twin practice.
• Interface with clients and internal departments to gather solution design inputs.

Required profile

• Extensive expertise in the IT Pillar within the Information Technology function.
• Proven experience leading functional teams or large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of Digital Twin concepts and implementation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
