Principal Product Manager

About the role

The Principal Product Manager will own the vision and strategy for In‑Flight solutions within the Flightscape portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, you will align business objectives with customer needs across multiple Agile Release Trains.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the In‑Flight solutions.
• Collaborate with product, portfolio, technology and platform teams to shape the Flightscape portfolio strategy.
• Lead cross‑functional teams including Product Owners, UX, Engineering, and Architects to deliver shared outcomes.
• Build relationships with airline customers and represent the organisation at industry events.
• Analyse market trends and airline industry challenges to identify investment opportunities.
• Drive product discovery, validation and prioritisation using customer insights and data.
• Establish measurable business objectives and monitor performance indicators.
• Manage a virtual profit‑and‑loss view, balancing revenue and cost considerations.
• Support sales readiness and enablement in partnership with marketing and customer‑engagement teams.
• Participate actively in SAFe PI planning and other Agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Aviation or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy or a closely related discipline.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑team product initiatives in a SAFe environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience translating market insights into product decisions.
