Data Science Manager – Operations (Finance)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Science Manager to lead AI and data science initiatives that boost operational efficiency and support decision‑making within our Finance division. You will work in the Digital Technology and Customer Experience team, collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver AI and data science use cases that improve operational performance across the business.
• Build and implement predictive models such as price elasticity, residual value, predictive maintenance, churn prediction, and anomaly detection.
• Develop KPI metrics and reporting systems using statistical process control and data‑visualisation tools.
• Generate actionable insights through statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and machine‑learning techniques.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, practical recommendations.
• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality analytics solutions.

Required profile

• 4‑5+ years of experience in customer, finance, or operations analytics or data science.
• Proven track record delivering machine‑learning and advanced‑analytics solutions in a business environment.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Solid problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and project‑management capabilities.
