Private Markets Technology & Automation Associate

About the role

This position sits within a Private Markets investment team, partnering with professionals across private equity, venture capital, private credit and real assets. You will improve workflows, data management and investment decision‑making through technology and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse private‑markets workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation and scalability.
• Design and develop technology solutions for portfolio monitoring, reporting, pipeline management and investment operations.
• Leverage AI, prompt engineering and workflow‑automation tools to enhance research, analysis and decision‑making.
• Build dashboards, applications and analytics solutions that deliver actionable insights across private‑capital portfolios.
• Evaluate and implement best‑in‑class technologies in collaboration with investment and technology teams.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in a private‑capital environment (private equity, venture capital, private credit, real assets, family office, sovereign wealth fund or institutional platform).
• Proven experience supporting investment teams with exposure to deal processes, portfolio monitoring, fund reporting or data management.
• Strong Python development skills; knowledge of SQL, APIs and cloud technologies is highly desirable.
• Hands‑on experience with private‑markets platforms such as DealCloud, PitchBook, Burgiss or Cambridge Associates.
