Process Supervisor – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Process Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient and economical operation of ADNOC's process plants and storage/export facilities during assigned shifts. The role ensures production targets are met while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meet oil production and gas supply requirements and support export meter verification.
• Supervise receipt, storage and export of crude oil using pumps, turbine meters and provers.
• Oversee de‑commissioning and commissioning of tanks, including maintenance, overhaul and desludging activities.
• Develop, review and implement operating and commissioning procedures for all plants.
• Analyse IDP system data to ensure competency of process personnel.
• Plan and execute equipment isolation programmes, guaranteeing gas‑free conditions for maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate log books and plant condition records.
• Troubleshoot plant and unit operations to optimise performance.
• Liaise with laboratory technicians for product and export sample testing.
• Monitor chemicals and consumables, manage inventory and ensure safe stock levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising process plants in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong understanding of safety, efficiency and economic principles in plant operations.
• Ability to train, develop and coordinate staff to achieve functional objectives.
• Experience contributing to budget preparation and cost control.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, company policies and international standards.
• Track record of meeting performance objectives within a structured framework.

Required skills

• Plant isolation and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
