Procurement Executive

About the role

The Procurement Executive will be based on‑site in Sharjah, managing end‑to‑end purchasing activities for BASTech's construction and infrastructure projects. The role ensures timely supply of materials and services while complying with UAE regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and raise purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, track delivery schedules, and coordinate with internal departments and vendors.
• Review procurement requests, maintain supplier records, and analyze cost and vendor performance.
• Support contract management, resolve order or delivery issues, and drive continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in procurement or supply chain within construction, engineering, manpower or related industries.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cost comparison, vendor evaluation and stakeholder collaboration.
• Knowledge of UAE labor regulations and local market suppliers is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with procurement or ERP software.
