Procurement Manager – UAE National Only

About the role

As a Procurement Manager at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, you will lead the end‑to‑end sourcing process, ensuring the bank obtains the best value while complying with all internal policies. The role is open exclusively to UAE nationals and offers the chance to influence cost‑saving strategies across the finance division.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the supplier selection process, plan and negotiate bid proposals and renewals in line with the bank’s procurement procedures.
• Analyse risks related to time and cost, guaranteeing fairness and transparency throughout bidding.
• Negotiate critical supply contracts and approve or reject deviations from contract specifications.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that reduce spend, control costs and foster a culture of long‑term savings.
• Monitor internal processes, correct inaccuracies and ensure adherence to best‑practice procurement tools and codes of conduct.
• Track and report functional metrics to drive expense reduction and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct continuous‑improvement initiatives, recommending cost‑effective deals and supplier options.
• Lead and coach the procurement team in accordance with ADCB’s people‑management policies.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Minimum of 72 months (6 years) of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain management.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on risk and cost implications.
