Procurement Officer

About the role

Royal Classic is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage the full purchasing lifecycle for construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves sourcing materials, equipment and subcontractor services, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency and compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement processes for construction materials, MEP supplies, machinery and sub‑contracts.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate pricing, payment schedules and delivery terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Generate purchase orders, maintain tracking documentation and update procurement logs.
• Coordinate with project, engineering and site teams to align material lead times with project schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries and prepare regular purchasing status reports for management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or Purchasing Specialist, preferably within the UAE construction sector.
• Hands‑on knowledge of sourcing construction and MEP materials and subcontractor services.
• UAE resident preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with purchase order workflows.
• Familiarity with procurement documentation systems.
