Product Lead – Merchant Experience

About the role

As the Product Lead for Merchant Experience, you will own the daily digital experience of businesses using our core merchant‑facing products. You will define strategy, roadmap and performance metrics for key journeys such as onboarding, payments, settlements and reporting, ensuring they are simple, trustworthy and useful for business owners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for merchant‑centric digital experiences.
• Lead end‑to‑end product cycles from discovery through launch and continuous iteration.
• Improve live experiences across activation, engagement, retention and usage frequency.
• Own core journeys including onboarding, verification, account management, payments, settlements, money movement, reporting and servicing.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and commercial partners to turn complex financial flows into intuitive mobile experiences.
• Set clear outcomes, metrics and success criteria for each product or journey.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product‑management experience, preferably in fintech, payments or regulated banking.
• Proven track record of shipping high‑frequency mobile or business banking products used daily by merchants or consumers.
• Deep ownership of end‑to‑end customer journeys and the ability to translate insights into product decisions.
• Strong product judgment, systems thinking and commercial instincts.
• Data‑driven, hypothesis‑focused approach with solid analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams through influence and clear communication.

Required skills

• Experience building mobile banking, business banking, mobile wallet or high‑frequency financial products.
• Understanding of payment flows and trade‑offs between speed, cost, risk, reliability and trust.
• Familiarity with compliance, risk, legal and operations considerations in regulated environments.
