Product Manager – Flight Ops & Crew Management Systems

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a Product Manager to lead technology products in the Flight Operations and Crew Management domain. You will act as the bridge between complex airline operational needs and technical delivery, ensuring continuous improvement and successful releases.

Key responsibilities

• Own planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of projects across flight planning, weight & balance, fuel optimisation, crew pairing, rostering, tracking and fatigue management.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with architects, developers and third‑party vendors.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks and roadblocks to keep projects on time, on budget and operationally continuous.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, cybersecurity policies and aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, GCAA).
• Serve as primary liaison between DevOps, Data Engineering, Network Security and operational stakeholders.
• Prepare change records, release plans and readiness assessments for Change Advisory Board meetings.
• Provide regular updates, budget reports, risk assessments and executive status reporting.
• Drive deployments through the Route to LIVE (RTL) process and support ITSM/ITIL change, incident and release management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the airline or aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of Flight Operations and Crew Management systems.
• Experience with IT governance, change management and regulatory environments.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
