Product Specialist – Outdoor & Adventure Retail

About the role

The Product Specialist will use expert knowledge of outdoor, sports and adventure products to deliver outstanding customer service and support sales at Adventure HQ. You will guide shoppers in selecting the right gear, ensure products are presented to brand standards, and contribute to a positive in‑store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on product features, specifications and usage, helping customers choose items that match their activities and preferences.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs by promoting key products, promotions and add‑on items, and delivering a high‑quality shopping experience.
• Maintain product displays, signage and pricing in line with brand standards, and support seasonal merchandising and promotional setups.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with receiving and organizing inventory, report discrepancies and support stock counts and audits.
• Collaborate with store managers and sales teams, share product updates, and support staff training on product knowledge.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or certification in sports, outdoor activities or retail is an advantage.
• 2–4 years of retail or customer‑service experience, preferably in outdoor, sports, lifestyle or technical product retail.
• Strong interest or knowledge of outdoor and adventure products and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
