Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

As a Production Manager based in Abu Dhabi, you will lead the safe and efficient execution of manufacturing activities across assigned product lines. You will be responsible for delivering production plans on time, within quality and cost targets while ensuring compliance with HSE and ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production operations to meet schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
• Plan and secure manpower, materials, tools, equipment and documentation before execution.
• Execute production orders through ERP/SAP/MES, managing order release, routing, labor booking, material consumption and traceability.
• Optimize workforce planning, shift coverage, OEE/OLE and productivity, and implement recovery actions.
• Monitor output, schedule adherence, downtime, quality issues and material shortages, driving corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Stores, Maintenance, HSE, IT and other functions to resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, ISO requirements, HSE regulations, 5S and audit readiness.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency and resource utilization.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing production operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP or MES.
• Familiarity with OLE/OEE performance metrics and ISO management systems.
• Understanding of HSE compliance and safety standards.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
