Program Manager

About the role

Thales is seeking a Program Manager to support the Emirates Portfolio Director and US Program Directors in delivering aerospace programs from sales hand‑over through final aircraft delivery. The role is based in Dubai and involves coordinating local teams and acting as the liaison with US leadership and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cost, schedule and risk management for Emirates programs, ensuring profitability and technical accuracy.
• Lead the Discovery Dubai team, define work scope, deliverables and milestones for hardware and software development.
• Support bid processes, develop program BOM, conduct kick‑off meetings and manage internal change orders.
• Maintain program master schedule, monitor financial performance, and prepare for design and review meetings (PDR, CDR, FAI, PMR).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 7‑9 years experience or Master’s degree with 5 years experience in program management.
• Minimum five years of PMO experience in the aviation or avionics sector, with proven customer‑facing skills.
• Strong financial acumen, ability to analyse large data sets and present information to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• Microsoft Project and Primavera scheduling tools.
• Program Management and PMO methodologies.
• SAP experience.
