Project Analyst - Payment Systems

About the role

Join ADCB’s Global Business Services team as a Project Analyst focused on payment systems, where you will contribute to functional and technical documentation, support team workshops, and ensure data quality while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, iterate, build and maintain functional and technical documentation to ensure compliance with department policies.
• Support and coordinate workshops, critical meetings, testing and issue resolution for team development.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on data, inputs and outputs to guarantee accuracy.
• Prepare management reporting and maintain reporting artefacts across Jira, Excel, Planview and ADCB systems.
• Assist with mini‑projects and initiatives, ensuring timely implementation against action plans.
• Implement new processes and improvements, contributing to feedback loops for policy compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years designing, implementing and operating enterprise‑class networks, or 3 years in network architecture plus 1 year in incident management and software release management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (Data Centre, Security, Route/Switch) or equivalent.
• ITIL Foundation certification.

Required skills

• Knowledge of data‑network technologies and protocols: routers, switches, network controllers, NFV, BGP, MPLS, QoS, DNS/DHCP.
• Knowledge of network‑security technologies: firewall, IPS, WAF, VPN, IPSEC, DDoS, NAT, 802.1x, SWG, UTM, TLS.
• Familiarity with Internet Protocol Telephony and Unified Communications.
• Problem‑management, analysis and capacity‑planning capabilities.
• Proficiency with Jira, Excel and Planview for reporting.
