Project Business Material Manager

About the role

As a key member of the META Materials Management team, you will support the business results of the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region by managing material flows for large construction projects and complex customer orders based in Dubai. You will work closely with sales, project and supply‑chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels, high service standards and timely order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the end‑to‑end material flow for large projects across the META region, optimizing stock availability, days on hand and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with the mainstream Materials Management team to assess regional supply capabilities, clarify lead times and proactively resolve stock shortages.
• Lead Project SFI (Sales Forecast Integration) meetings and manage inventory approvals through the PB S&OP process.
• Coordinate purchasing of project‑related materials, enter project forecasts based on BOMs into the planning system and handle BOM changes.
• Manage project stock and reservation processes to meet service and inventory targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in materials management, planning or a similar supply‑chain role.
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of logistics processes such as inventory management, international shipping and warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for people development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP ERP.
• Familiarity with JDA planning systems.
