Project Control Specialist II

About the role

Worley is looking for a Project Control Specialist II to join its Abu Dhabi team. The specialist will provide expert project control services, supporting the company’s project control system and ensuring accurate planning, cost management and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and roll‑out the project control system in collaboration with the Business Systems Group.
• Assist project teams in using the system according to corporate guidelines and project‑specific requirements.
• Set up project structures together with project management, system administration and document control.
• Deliver planning and scheduling support to keep project milestones on track.
• Perform cost control, profitability monitoring and invoice advice verification.
• Analyse cost and schedule data, flag anomalies and provide forecasting updates.
• Support proposal development with planning, scheduling and cost estimation.
• Coordinate interface management among project managers, discipline leads, system administrators and document controllers.
• Prepare and control work orders, implement financial controls and manage cash‑flow projections.
• Provide weekly progress updates, schedule revisions and change‑order management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project control, cost management and scheduling within large engineering or construction projects.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret cost and schedule data and produce accurate forecasts.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, finance teams and multidisciplinary project groups.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring data integrity and compliance with corporate procedures.
