Project Coordinator

About the role

Gensler is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support large, complex construction projects across the Middle East. The role involves managing the flow of project‑related information and contractual documents, ensuring quality and compliance from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain document control programs, coordinating internal and external teams to deliver information packages.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants and internal management for information auditing and sourcing.
• Implement QA/QC procedures on all outgoing and incoming information, ensuring adherence to project protocols.
• Distribute formal and informal issues to relevant teams and consultants.
• Create project standards, “how‑to” guides and train team members on EDM system usage.
• Prepare and maintain project record files, arrange printing, and manage hard‑copy filing.
• Review drawings, attach comments and upload revisions to project systems.
• Manage essential project forms such as RFIs, correspondences and site submittals.
• Provide occasional project administration support, including minutes and program updates.
• Support Gensler’s sustainability initiatives related to daily duties.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating large, multidisciplinary construction projects.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with mainstream EDM (Electronic Document Management) systems.
• Ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
