Project Director – Villa Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a large‑scale villa community project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing all aspects of construction, from planning and procurement to commercial management and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan and lead the Project Management team.
• Ensure service standards meet client expectations and industry best practice.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve project delivery.
• Manage commercial elements including consultant fees, claims and payments.
• Administer construction contracts and act as authorised signatory for correspondence.
• Drive quality, programme and budget targets.
• Lead Value Engineering and Delay Claim workshops.
• Coordinate regular progress updates with the Planning Manager.
• Oversee procurement activities and compile monthly reports with recommendations.
• Lead, motivate and manage multi‑disciplinary teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Project Management, Building Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Director.
• Extensive experience in villa construction and large‑scale community projects.
• Proven experience in contracting and project management consultancy (PMC) within the UAE.
• Active membership of a professional institution is a plus.
