Project Engineer – Building Construction

About the role

Talentigence is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support building construction projects in Dubai. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing building construction projects.
• Coordinate and supervise daily site activities to achieve project milestones.
• Review construction drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensure works comply with specifications, quality standards and Dubai authority requirements.
• Manage material procurement and timely delivery to site.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and work progress.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Participate in inspections, testing, snagging and project handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of building construction experience, with at least 3–5 years in Dubai.
• Experience in residential, commercial or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural, architectural and finishing works.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees and other authority requirements.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
