Project Engineer – Civil

About the role

The client is looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Civil to lead construction activities on high‑rise building projects in Dubai. You will supervise site operations, ensure compliance with drawings and standards, and drive projects to successful handover.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction works on site, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify technical issues and maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to meet project timelines.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, survey reports and topographical data.
• Manage procurement and delivery of materials, maintain accurate project documentation and implement risk‑mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building construction projects in the UAE, particularly Dubai.
• Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD and proven ability to supervise construction through completion and handover.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, steel structures, materials and relevant regulations.
• Excellent coordination, planning, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
