Project Engineer – Rail Transportation Infrastructure (UAE National)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies Middle East is seeking a UAE National Project Engineer to support a major rail transportation infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating engineering and construction activities, monitoring technical compliance, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor engineering and construction activities across the project.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements and project procedures.
• Review technical documents, drawings, method statements, material submissions and related engineering deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, quality performance and technical compliance.
• Identify technical issues, construction constraints and interface challenges and support timely resolution.
• Support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on technical observations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate responses to technical queries, RFIs and engineering clarifications.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE requirements and project procedures.

Required profile

• UAE National with Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in project engineering, construction engineering, site engineering or technical coordination, preferably on rail or transportation projects.
