Project HSE Manager (2-year Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

The Project HSE Manager will lead, develop and monitor all Health, Safety and Wellbeing activities for DP World projects in Fujairah. Reporting to project leadership, the role ensures compliance with DP World standards, local UAE regulations and international best practices while promoting a Zero Harm culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement DP World HSE strategy, policies and standards across the project.
• Develop and maintain project‑specific Health & Safety Management Plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Lead risk management, applying the Hierarchy of Control and driving best practices.
• Evaluate and monitor contractor HSE competency, conduct onboarding, audits and performance reviews.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance assessments against contract, local law and DP World standards.
• Lead investigations of incidents, near‑misses and occupational health events, delivering root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Act as the primary liaison with government and local authorities on HSE matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of HSE experience in large‑scale projects.
• NEBOSH International Diploma and Lead Auditor qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Proven experience in contractor HSE management and incident investigation.
• Ability to develop and implement HSE management plans and risk assessments.
