Project HSE Manager (2‑Year Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Project HSE Manager will lead health, safety and wellbeing activities for DP World projects based in Dibba, Fujairah. This 2‑year fixed‑term role ensures compliance with DP World standards, local regulations and international best practices while driving a Zero Harm culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project‑specific Health & Safety Management Plans.
• Review project plans, method statements, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Lead risk management, applying the hierarchy of control and best‑practice procedures.
• Evaluate contractor HSE competency, conduct onboarding and monitor performance throughout execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance assessments against contract, local and DP World requirements.
• Lead investigations of incidents, near‑misses and occupational health events, delivering corrective actions and lessons learned.
• Ensure all personnel receive appropriate inductions, task‑specific training and competency verification.
• Develop emergency response plans, coordinate drills and liaise with emergency services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSE management on large infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety legislation and DP World HSE standards.
• Ability to engage with project leadership, government authorities and contractors.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills for incident root‑cause analysis.
