Project Manager – Electrical Substation Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale electrical substation projects for Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project execution strategy, create detailed schedules, and obtain client approvals for drawings and rework.
• Mobilise and manage multidisciplinary project teams, including hiring key positions and coordinating with HR.
• Evaluate, select, and manage sub‑contractors, ensuring quotes, contracts and performance meet project requirements.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, material delivery, and site readiness to keep the project on track.
• Monitor progress against schedule, quality, cost (ACE), and safety manuals, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare risk assessments, mitigation plans, and conduct regular project review meetings with internal and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• BE in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 15–20 years of experience managing electrical substation EPC projects, including civil and mechanical aspects.
• Proven track record of delivering medium to large EPC contracts on time and profitably.
