Land Surveyor (Roads)

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join its roads and infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves performing field surveys, geodetic calculations, and supporting the preparation of as‑built drawings for road, bridge and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform land and field surveys and conduct geodetic calculations.
• Interface with clients and contractors to verify project survey requirements.
• Complete surveying tasks on schedule, within man‑hour and cost budgets.
• Check setting‑out, levels, and service locations to ensure protection.
• Prepare sketches, maintain field books, and record calculations.
• Assist in the preparation of as‑built drawings and measure work when required.
• Observe site safety procedures and participate in health‑safety activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in land surveying, setting‑out, and structural inspection for roads, infrastructure and bridges.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software and survey software.
• Experience using total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment.
• Ability to perform geodetic calculations.
