Project Manager – Infrastructure Utilities

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in utilities to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves overseeing utility infrastructure projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring successful outcomes while maintaining high quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute utility infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies tailored to utilities sector requirements.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with stakeholders, clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost‑effective resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance reviews to verify compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate meetings with project teams to address challenges, resolve issues, and maintain collaborative working relationships.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and organized for audit and compliance purposes.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure all projects meet UAE‑specific compliance and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5‑10 years of project management experience in the utilities sector.
• Fluent Arabic language proficiency (written and verbal communication).
• Proven track record of successfully managing utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing airport utilities projects or dealing with airport authorities is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory environment and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
