Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will lead shop construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role provides technical leadership and coordination across design, procurement, and on‑site execution.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical drawings for feasibility and coordinate with Brand Managers.
• Manage shop construction from concept to completion, monitoring materials, orders, and deliveries.
• Identify and recommend resources, evaluate quotes, and award contracts to qualified suppliers.
• Liaise with contractors to communicate shop drawing schedules and work programs, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards.
• Oversee on‑site construction to guarantee safety, efficiency, and compliance, taking corrective actions with the Project Engineer.
• Prepare and approve project budgets, authorize payments, and support timely remuneration for contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor quality assurance standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Compile and rectify snag lists, then hand over completed projects to Operations.
• Manage receipt, storage, and safe handling of materials, coordinating furniture installation with the Project Engineer.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 7‑10 years of experience in construction project management.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
