Project Manager

About the role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of construction projects in Dubai. The role involves planning, execution, and close monitoring to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project execution strategy and obtain management approval before kickoff.
• Prepare detailed project schedules with milestones and ensure drawings are obtained, reviewed, and approved.
• Coordinate with Finance to prepare and approve the Approved Cost Estimate (ACE).
• Establish the project team structure, work with HR to recruit key positions, and build an effective workforce.
• Evaluate subcontractor options, obtain quotes, and participate in selection committees.
• Oversee resource mobilization, soil testing, site assessments, and procurement progress.
• Review and finalize Project Quality Manual (PQM) and Health & Safety Manual (HSM).
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Deploy resources, monitor material logistics, and ensure site readiness for deliveries.
• Track progress against schedule, quality standards, budget (ACE), and contractual requirements.
• Identify critical issues, propose corrective actions, and ensure compliance with PQM and HSM throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor non‑conformance reports (NCR), lost‑time incidents (LTI), and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Organise weekly project review meetings with project, site, and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams including finance, HR, engineering, and procurement.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities to build and mobilize project teams.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
