Proposal Coordinator Engineer

About the role

The Proposal Coordinator Engineer supports the Proposal Center Manager and Business Line Managers in preparing and managing bids, tenders and expressions of interest. This role ensures proposals are accurate, timely and aligned with client requirements while coordinating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate RFPs to decide on submission and present findings to the technical team.
• Coordinate and prepare expressions of interest, pre‑qualifications and other bid documents.
• Develop proposals, including non‑technical writing, formatting, editing and ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Prepare and raise pre‑tender queries, liaise with clients for clarifications.
• Draft client communications such as letters and emails.
• Consolidate project cost estimates from estimation engineers, covering BOQ, equipment and manpower.
• Finalize direct and indirect cost estimations and compile tender documents for management review.
• Extract data from successful projects for marketing and business development.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as required.

• Proactive problem‑solver with the capacity to anticipate work requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to plan, coordinate and manage one’s own schedule in a fast‑paced environment.
