Psychology Teacher

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a qualified Psychology Teacher to join its growing network of schools in Abu Dhabi, starting in January 2027. The role involves delivering the psychology curriculum to secondary students while contributing to an inclusive, innovative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver psychology lessons in line with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
• Create a classroom climate that promotes outstanding learning and teaching.
• Identify clear teaching objectives and specify instructional strategies.
• Comply with health and safety legislation, child protection, safeguarding and equal‑opportunity policies.
• Participate in performance management processes and set challenging annual targets.
• Attend mandatory training on child protection, safeguarding, health and safety, and other academy‑approved programmes.
• Adhere to the academy’s dress code, photo‑ID requirements and computer Acceptable Use Policy.
• Sign in and out at reception when off‑site during the working day.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification for secondary education.
• Minimum of 24 months (2 years) teaching experience, preferably in psychology or related subjects.
• Demonstrated ability to work within performance‑management frameworks.
• Commitment to child protection, safeguarding and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Professional conduct in line with academy policies.
