Public Relations Officer – Emirati Talents

About the role

ABB is looking for a Public Relations Officer to support Emirati talent initiatives in Dubai. You will act as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring smooth labour and immigration processes while promoting positive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage labour relations and serve as liaison between workers and management.
• Plan and organise labour union activities, meetings and related projects.
• Maintain strong connections with authorities such as TECOM, DAFZA, JAFZA, MOHRE, GDRFA and DDA.
• Arrange visas for expatriates and their families, handle Emirates ID issues and manage visa check‑lists.
• Process visa renewals, staff medicals and coordinate with internal and external departments.
• Collect and submit required documentation for visas and permits.
• Respond to staff queries on visa, labour and passport matters.
• Represent the company at police stations, airports, hotels, embassies and consulates for document attestation.
• Assist with general labour and immigration inquiries and stay updated on online visa and labour processes.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Degree or diploma in business or a related discipline.
• Fluent in English.
• Existing connections with relevant UAE authorities are a plus.
