Purchase Officer – Façade Division

About the role

Al Khalidiya Group is seeking a Purchase Officer for its Façade Division in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for sourcing and procuring façade materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery to support ongoing construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Procure façade materials such as aluminium, glass, hardware, sealants and related products.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality and delivery terms.
• Prepare quotations, compare offers and issue purchase orders in line with company procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, stores and suppliers to maintain material availability.
• Monitor delivery schedules, follow up on outstanding orders and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and purchase documentation.
• Verify that purchased items meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a Purchase Officer, preferably in façade, aluminium, glass or construction.
• Strong knowledge of façade materials, aluminium systems and glass products.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and vendor‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities under tight project deadlines.
