Purchaser (Civil) – Construction Procurement

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchaser with a civil construction focus to join our Dubai team. The role involves managing the procurement of civil, structural and finishing materials for high‑rise building projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of civil, structural, and finishing materials.
• Ensure all materials meet project specifications, approvals, and consultant requirements.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to support project timelines.
• Coordinate with project, planning, engineering, and logistics teams.
• Maintain supplier relationships and update the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Issue purchase orders, track orders and keep procurement records, preferably using Oracle ERP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Supply Chain.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience in UAE construction, preferably on high‑rise residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, vendors and market trends.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Good understanding of commercial and contractual terms; FIDIC knowledge is an advantage.
