Estimation Engineer

About the role

Ozonets Technical Services LLC is seeking a full‑time Estimation Engineer to join its Dubai office. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take‑offs and Bills of Quantities for MEP and technical projects, supporting tender submissions and value‑engineering activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take‑offs and BOQs for mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects.
• Review architectural and MEP drawings using AutoCAD, scaling and interpreting specifications.
• Conduct market research on electrical materials, equipment and labour costs to develop competitive proposals.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and suppliers to validate estimates and clarify scope.
• Track actual project costs against estimates and update estimation databases for future accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong background in MEP BOQ preparation and project estimation, preferably within the GCC region.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, distribution boards and local DEWA standards.
• Excellent analytical, research and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing review and scaling.
• Experience with estimation and quantity‑take‑off software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and cost modelling.
