Purchasing Coordinator – Hospitality

About the role

As a Purchasing Coordinator you will support the Purchasing Supervisor in ensuring the smooth operation of the purchasing department, sourcing quality products at competitive prices while upholding Hilton’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requests, conduct market research and price comparisons.
• Liaise with other departments to understand and fulfil purchasing requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing reports and documentation.
• Monitor stock levels to minimise over‑stocking and under‑stocking.
• Respond to purchasing enquiries promptly and courteously.
• Assist the Purchasing Supervisor with day‑to‑day operations.
• Support procurement of goods at competitive prices without compromising quality.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, teamwork and ownership mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with purchasing and inventory management systems.
• Understanding of purchasing procedures, supplier coordination and market research.
