QA/QC Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role

Azizi Developments is expanding its onsite supervision team in Dubai and seeks a QA/QC Engineer – Civil to oversee quality assurance and control for all civil construction activities. You will ensure that every work package complies with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE construction standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for civil works in line with project requirements.
• Review and approve inspection requests, material submittals, method statements and other quality documentation submitted by contractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with drawings, specifications and applicable codes.
• Inspect civil works including concrete, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishes and related activities.
• Monitor concrete pouring activities, including pre‑pour inspections, testing, sampling and post‑pour requirements.
• Ensure all materials used on site are approved and meet project specifications and relevant standards.
• Identify non‑conforming works, raise NCRs and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of experience in QA/QC for high‑rise or large‑scale civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, local authority requirements and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage documentation in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English; familiarity with Dubai construction practices is essential.
