QA/QC Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Manager will lead quality assurance and control activities across all construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards. This senior position reports to senior management and works closely with project, technical, design, HSE and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project Quality Management Plans, procedures, standards and QA/QC systems.
• Review and approve contractors' and consultants' quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and related documentation.
• Establish and monitor quality control processes for construction activities, materials, equipment, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Conduct regular quality inspections, audits, surveillance activities and compliance assessments on site.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate quality requirements throughout project delivery.
• Lead quality meetings, workshops and develop quality KPIs and performance reports for senior management.
• Oversee internal and external quality audits and maintain comprehensive quality records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management or a related field.
• Proven experience leading QA/QC functions on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contractual requirements, approved specifications, applicable codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a QA/QC team, ensuring high performance standards.
