QA/QC Pipelines Lead

About the role

The QA/QC Pipelines Lead will own and manage all quality assurance and control activities for pipeline installation under the EPC contract and line‑pipe procurements. Reporting to the Quality Department, the role ensures compliance with project standards, drives continuous improvement and acts as the primary quality focal point for the pipelines installation package.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure contractor and supplier quality requirements are met throughout the EPC pipelines installation contract.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor inspection activities, including preparation and review of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Participate in the definition and monitoring of quality dashboards and KPIs for pipeline activities.
• Review and approve inspection and quality surveillance reports, and follow up on NCRs, deviations and concessions.
• Collaborate with SMEs in welding, NDE, painting/coating, engineering and package teams to resolve quality issues.
• Plan, conduct and support internal and external audits, self‑audits and customer quality reviews.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, audit matrices and corrective‑action registers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a diploma in Quality Management preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in major on‑shore EPC projects, particularly in pipeline installation.
• Proven experience in welding procedures, NDE methods and quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of EPC phase activities and pipeline‑related standards.
