QC Electrical Inspector – Industrial Services

About the role

We are seeking a qualified QC Electrical Inspector to lead inspection activities for industrial services projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that electrical installations and equipment meet the required codes, standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute inspection services for industrial electrical works according to the defined scope of work.
• Perform stage‑wise and final inspections in line with IEC, IEEE, ANSI and NEC standards.
• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections, witness FAT/SAT and routine tests of HV/MV/LV materials and equipment.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, datasheets, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and project specifications.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and general arrangement drawings to confirm correct installation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in electrical inspection or quality control.
• 5–6 years of experience within the GCC region is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ANSI and NEC standards.
• Experience with HV, MV and LV electrical equipment inspection.
• Proficiency in visual and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with FAT and SAT procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
