Quality Control Engineer - E&I Procurement

About the role

Fulkrum is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Procurement Quality Control Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures the quality and compliance of procured electrical equipment, instrumentation and associated materials for engineering and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vendor inspections and quality surveillance of electrical and instrumentation equipment and materials.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and vendor quality documents.
• Verify inspection records, test reports, material certificates and equipment documentation.
• Monitor manufacturing, testing and acceptance activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Identify non-conformities, coordinate corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with vendors, procurement, engineering and project teams.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records in line with project standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant E&I discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of total quality-related experience, including at least 5 years in E&I Procurement Quality Control.
• Experience with leading EPC companies such as L&T, Tecnimont, JGC, Técnicas Reunidas, Technip, Bechtel or Saipem.
• Strong experience in vendor inspection and quality assurance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
